چکیده

Using the ground potential energy surface[M. Ayouz et al. J. Chem Phys 132 194309 (2010)] of the H−3 molecule, we have determined the energies and widths of the complex resonant levels of H−3 located up to 4000 cm −1 above the dissociation limit H−+H2(vd = 0, jd = 0). Bound and resonant levels of the H2D − and D2H − isotopologues have been also characterized within the same energy range. The method combines the hyperspherical adiabatic approach, slow variable discretization method, and complex absorbing potential. These results represent the first step for modeling the dynamics of the associated diatom-negative ion collision at low energy involving rotational quenching of the diatom and reactive nucleus exchange via weak tunneling effect through the potential barrier of the potential energy surface. CO2 molecule as a quantum realization of the 1:1:2 resonant swing-spring with monodromy.

We consider the wide class of systems modeled by an integrable approximation to the 3 degrees of freedom elastic pendulum with 1:1:2 resonance, or the swing-spring. This approximation has monodromy which prohibits the existence of global action-angle variables and complicates the dynamics. We study the quantum swing-spring formed by bending and symmetric stretching vibrations of the CO2 molecul...

Vibrational dynamics of the H5(+) and its isotopologues from multiconfiguration time-dependent Hartree calculations.

Full-dimensional multiconfiguration time-dependent Hartree (MCTDH) computations are reported for the vibrational states of the H(5)(+) and its H(4)D(+), H(3)D(2)(+), H(2)D(3)(+), HD(4)(+), D(5)(+) isotopologues employing two recent analytical potential energy surfaces of Xie et al. [J. Chem. Phys. 122, 224307 (2005)] and Aguado et al. [J. Chem. Phys. 133, 024306 (2010)]. The potential energy op...

Nonequilibrium rovibrational energy distributions of hydrogen isotopologues in an expanding plasma jet.

State resolved densities of high rovibrationally excited hydrogen isotopologues H(2), HD, and D(2) in the electronic ground state have been measured in a supersonically expanding plasma jet. The obtained state distributions differ substantially from thermal equilibrium. Moreover, the distributions are not the same for H(2), HD, and D(2) indicating different formation and relaxation rates for ea...

DFT calculations on quetiapine hemifumarate as a pharmaceutical compound for the treatment of schizophrenia

In this work, the optimization calculations were carried out on quetiapine hemifumarat, 4, and its analogues, 1-5. These calculations were carried out using the B3LYP/6-31G(d) level of theory. The DFT calculations clarified a boat structure for dibenzothiazepine moiety of the molecule which piperazine moiety has a chair conformation. Thermal energies (E), enthalpies (H), and free energies (G) o...
